Delivery Policy
Posting and Shipping
All items will be sent using an approved couriers.
International Shipping
We do not at present offer delivery to any international destinations. Contact us to ask if we can. When ordering goods for delivery overseas You may be subject to import duties and taxes, which are charged once the parcel reaches its destination country. These charges must be paid by you .We have no control over these charges and cannot estimate what the cost will be as customs policies and import duties vary widely between countries. We suggest that you contact your local customs office for current charges before you order to avoid any unexpected charges.
DELIVERY
The goods You order will be delivered to the address You gave when You placed Your order, subject to payment of the relevant postage/shipping charge. If We do not deliver to a particular destination You will be notified by Us before You submit Your order or as soon as possible thereafter. Heathcote Honey aim to dispatch all deliveries within 4 Working Days (Monday - Friday (but excluding Bank or public holidays in England, Scotland and Wales) or as soon as possible thereafter subject to the goods being in stock. You may need to sign for the goods at the point of delivery. If there is no answer at the address when your parcel arrives you will be left a calling card with instructions on how to collect your order or to rearrange your delivery (for international delivery your local post supplier). Please make sure you select your parcel within 7 days or it will be sent back to us. If this occurs we will redeliver your item but this will be at your own cost.
If you fail to take the delivery of the goods or fail to give adequate delivery instructions prior to the time stated for delivery( other than by reason of the Company’s fault) then, without prejudice to any other right or remedy available to Us we may store the goods until actual delivery and charge the buyer for the reasonable costs( including insurance) of storage or sell the goods at the best price readily obtainable and (after deducting all reasonable storage and selling expenses) give account to you for the excess over the price under the contract or charge you for any shortfall below the price under the Contract. Heathcote Honey will not be liable for any loss or damage suffered by You through any reasonable or unavoidable delay in delivery. We will inform You of any delay as soon as possible.
We cannot accept responsibility for delays in delivery times that are caused by external influences such as national and international public holidays, postal strikes or adverse weather conditions. Return & Exchange Policy
If that rare occasion arises where you feel you must return an item, please contact Heathcote Honey within three (3) days by email following receipt of your purchase stating the reason for the return. We will provide you with return instructions. All returns must be authorised by Heathcote Honey prior to return. Returned merchandise must be received by us within seven (7) days of the date from which you contacted us regarding the return. It is the customer's responsibility to ensure that the returned goods are safely packed using appropriate materials. We suggest that you return goods in the original packing materials.Upon our receipt and inspection of the returned goods, we will issue a refund if the goods are returned in the same condition as purchased (excluding any shipping/insurance costs). You are responsible for return shipping/insurance costs, which will not be reimbursed for any reason. Items will not be accepted if they do not appear to be in the same condition in which they were delivered. Heathcote Honey reserves the right not to pay a refund if returned goods arrive damaged.You must have all original packaging and proof of receipt, we can only process your refund through Pay pal. We cannot refund you for your online purchase in cash. Please note refunds can only be credited to the original purchaser for all EU country shipments excluding sales taxes and shipping charges. International customs duties and sales taxes are also nonrefundable for shipments outside the European Community (EU).Damaged GoodsYou are responsible for checking the goods once it is delivered to you. If in the unlikely event you receive damaged goods You must notify us of any damage within 7 days of delivery. Please contact info@heathcotehoney.co.uk. Failure to do this will result in any claim(s) being dismissed and the company will hold no liability for loss or damage during delivery.We will normally ask to see a photograph of the faulty or broken goods prior to authorising return. If in the unlikely event you receive damaged goods we will replace or substitute the damaged part (subject to stock availability) at our expense. If we are unable to replace a damaged part you will need to return the whole of the original purchase for a full refund. On receipt of the returned item(s) and inspection of the goods to confirm the damage we will refund you the cost of the goods and postage.
Cancellations
You may cancel your order without charge any time prior to it having been dispatched. Please email us as soon as possible if you need to cancel in order to avoid wastage of packing materials. If you change your mind once you have placed an order, you have the right to cancel and obtain a full refund. You must give written notice to us at Heathcote Honey giving details of the goods ordered and (where appropriate) their delivery. You can notify us within 7 days after the day on which you receive your order. A working day is any day other than weekends, bank holiday or other public holidays.Cancellation must be in writing or email to info@heathcotehoney.co.uk. You will be responsible for returning the goods to Us at Your own cost .Please obtain proof of posting in case anything goes astray or gets damaged in transit. We will refund you the relevant cost of the item less a £10.00 re-stocking fee to cover the packaging costs to Your credit card or other account for the goods.Under the Distance Selling Regulations it is the buyer’s duty throughout the period of cancellation to retain possession of the goods and take reasonable care of them. This includes exercising reasonable care to ensure that we receive the goods and that the goods are not damaged in transit. We ask you to return goods with the original packaging.The contract between us shall be governed by the laws of England and any dispute between us will be resolved exclusively in the courts of England.
